Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- The Japanese government's outstanding debt increased to a record 954.42 trillion yen ($12.28 trillion) as of the end of September, the Finance Ministry of Japan said Thursday.

The figure marked a 1.1 percent increase from three months earlier.
