Moscow, November 15 (KCNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Monday rejected the U.S. and West sanctions against Iran.

The U.S., Israel and the Europe are making a fuss over the recent report of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Iran's nuclear program, which lacks new contents, he said, adding:

This campaign may be a fabrication or a means to build public opinion and lay a foundation for fresh unilateral sanctions.

The racket over Iran's nuclear program is fevered to impose unilateral sanctions, he noted, adding that threatening sanctions and air strike would make the negotiated settlement of the issue more complicated.
