Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa recently clarified the stand rejecting the U.S. exercising influence on regional organizations.

The U.S. is committing high-handed and arbitrary practices in the Organization of American States, Correa noted.

The United States does not recognize the Inter-American Convention on Human Rights, Correa said.

Correa also condemned that a U.S. woman, Dinah Shelton, chairs the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (ICHR), and described as very dangerous having taken the country to that organization trying to make it look bad for defending private interests.

Correa called for revising such system.
