Beijing, November 15 (KCNA) -- He Guoqiang, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of China, called for promoting the development of universities.

Inspecting some universities in Beijing recently, he said that universities should be put on a higher level of development to train many able persons needed for the party and state affairs.

Specially, it is important to help students from poor families continue studying at universities and university graduates get jobs, he added.
