Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) from across the country planted trees in the arboretum of the Kumsusan Memorial Palace Wednesday.

Those of the Central Committee of the UAWK and at least 20 city (district) and county committees of the UAWK in Pyongyang, South and North Phyongan Provinces and North Hwanghae Province prepared over 9,000 trees of 11 species and over 12,500 flower roots of 6 species.

They also handed over at least 17,500 pieces of materials of 4 kinds useful for further sprucing up the sacred temple of Juche in a sublime way
