Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The Finland-Korea Society published the 2nd issue of its magazine "Korean Friends-2011".

The magazine carried a photo of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

In an article titled "HE Kim Jong Il's External Activities" the magazine noted that he visited the Siberian and Far Eastern regions of the Russian Federation in August and had talks with President Medvedev. It warmly congratulated Kim Jong Il on the successes made during his visit to Russia.

In an article titled "Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung" it noted that the Korean people are waging a dynamic drive to significantly commemorate the centenary of birth of the President. It went on to say:

The signal progress made in the DPRK is a shining fruition of the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Il.

Extending firm solidarity to the fraternal Korean people, we are firmly convinced that they would win a brilliant victory in building a thriving socialist nation under his leadership.
