Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The "Ulsa (1905) Five-point Treaty", fabricated by the Japanese imperialists 106 years ago, was an illegal and invalid treaty in gross violation of the requirements and principles of international law, say leading newspapers of the DPRK today. Referring to the details about the "treaty" the Japanese imperialists fabricated by threatening the king, the supreme representative of the Ri Dynasty feudal government, and its ministers, the papers say in bylined articles that it was a dead document as it failed to go through formalities for a treaty. Rodong Sinmun says: The "Ulsa Five-point Treaty" was a false document the Japanese imperialists faked up at the point of the bayonet and, needless to say, it was an illegal "treaty" with no legal validity. Human history does not know such a group of aggressors as the Japanese imperialists that fabricated and proclaimed an international treaty by means of coercion and fraudulence and enforced their fascist colonial rule over other country. Well aware of the will of the Korean army and people to get a very high price for it, Japan should honestly admit and apology for all the crimes committed against the Korean people in the past, including the fabrication of the "Ulsa (1905) Five-point Treaty", and settle the past at an early date. Minju Joson condemns the Japanese reactionaries for getting hell-bent on the reinvasion moves in a foolish design to realize the old dream of "Greater east Asia co-prosperity sphere" far from honestly reflecting and making apology and reparation for Japan's past crimes. |
