Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea made public a statement on Nov. 14 protesting the prosecution's reckless action against its members. The prosecution indicted four members of the organization including its co-chairpersons and secretary-general on the charge of violation of the "National Security Law" on Nov. 10, the statement noted, adding: In May the prosecution demanded warrants of arrest for them only to be rejected. This time it reapplied the arrest warrants, finally detaining two of them. Hitting at such action to repress the forces aspiring justice and reunification by dint of the fascist law, the statement warned that the "government" and the prosecution would surely face a stern punishment of the people if they persist in crackdown. |
