Moscow, November 16 (KCNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Nov. 14 demanded the U.S. clear guarantee as regards the issue of deploying the missile defense system.

The U.S. is not ruling out that combat warships equipped with interceptor missile system can be deployed in the Black Sea, Barents Sea and Baltic Sea as well as the Mediterranean Sea, he said.

The U.S. unilateral plan for building the global MD system is in force, he noted, adding: The U.S. is expanding MD system even to the Arctic under the pretext of coping with any missile development of Iran.

The U.S. is telling that Russia should not care about it as it is not aimed at Russia but it cannot satisfy with this, he said, stressing: The guarantee should be clear and written.
