Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- A high-ranking official of the Palestinian National Authority in a press conference on Nov. 14 scathingly accused the Israeli authorities of imposing high financial taxes on the Palestinian residents living in eastern Kuds, saying that Israel aims at hardening their daily life and emptying the city of any Arab presence.

The taxes imposed on the Palestinian residents are four times more than those collected from the Jewish residents, he said, strongly demanding the Israeli authorities cancel such discrimination step at once.
