Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The horizontal spinning fiber process has been updated at the February 8 Vinalon Complex in South Hamgyong Province.

Horizontal spinning fiber production process waw wonderfully rebuilt to ensure mass-production of quality vinalon.

The workers and builders of the complex finished the project for process of vinalon production by horizontal spinning in a little more than one year, which would have taken several years at an ordinary pace.

Its commissioning ceremony took place on the spot Thursday.

Present there were Choe Yong Rim, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Jon Pyong Ho, director of the Cabinet Political Bureau, Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Mu Yong, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kwak Pom Gi, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of ministries, national institutions, the province and relevant units and employees, builders and helpers of the complex.

Kwak Pom Gi made an inaugural address which was followed by speeches.

The speakers said that the completion of modern horizontal spinning production process able to turn out quality vinalon fibre helped translate into a brilliant reality the lifelong desire of President Kim Il Sung.

They noted that thanks to the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Il who worked heart and soul for the development of the vinalon industry, the country could enjoy the auspicious event of vinalon fall.

They expressed the resolve to work fresh miracles and feats in the production of chemical goods including vinalon and modernization of the complex drive with the spirit, disposition and creative power of South Hamgyong Province and thus dynamically push forward the advance for the industrial revolution in the new century.
