Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The Iranian permanent representative to the UN in a recent letter addressed to the UN condemned the U.S. for its unreasonable attempt to label Iran a "terrorist state".

The letter denounced a U.S. attempt to present a draft resolution at the UN on an alleged conspiracy against the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the U.S.

"It is an unprecedented action with serious implications for the credibility of the United Nations", the letter noted.

It rejected the accusations underlining it was made-up and groundless.
