Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The 19th ASEAN Summit was held in Bali, Indonesia on Nov. 17.

Present there were heads of state and governments of the ASEAN member states.

The summit on the theme of "ASEAN Community within World State Community" discussed the issue of strengthening the regional cooperation to build the ASEAN community by 2015 and the issues of climate change, food, energy security, etc.

The participants in the summit underlined the need to ensure the unity of action of the ASEAN in dealing with the world's major issues and agreed to set up the ASEAN Joint Forum by 2020.

Adopted at the summit were the Bali Declaration on the ASEAN Community within the World State Community (Bali Convention 3) and other documents.
