Moscow, November 18 (KCNA) -- The Russian government decided to request 880 billion Rbls for the 2012 defense budget.

This figure is 130 billion Rbls more than this year.

Speaking at a consultative meeting on Monday, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that Russia had never allocated such large funds for national defense.

In this regard, he urged all organs, particularly the Defense Ministry and enterprises belonging to defense industrial complexes to work orderly.
