Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- A DPRK-China friendship joint youth meeting was held at Nanjing University of China on Saturday.

Present there were members of the DPRK youth friendship delegation led by Ri Yong Chol, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League.

Luo Mei, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, Zhang Jiuhan, vice-chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Political Consultative Conference, and the staff and students of Nanjing University attended.

Ri Yong Chol, in his speech made at the meeting, expressed belief that DPRK-China friendly relations, developing on good terms day by day, would further develop by the joint efforts of the youths of the two countries.

Luo Mei in a speech stressed the need to eternally glorify the Sino-DPRK friendship, noting youth of the two countries are shouldering the mission to make contributions to steadily developing the traditional bilateral friendship.

The meeting was followed by a performance given by the art squad of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League and the young artistes of China.
