Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The title of Merited Artiste was awarded to Section Chief Pae Song Gwon, Composer Ri Nam Sin and artistes Pak Kum Jong, Kim Hui Ok and Kwon Mi Hwa of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces.

They have successfully created art works of high ideological and artistic value replete with the spirit of the era and gave performances of them, making contributions to encouraging the army and people in the advance of a great surge for building a thriving socialist nation.

The commendation ceremony took place at Ponghwa Art Theatre on Sunday.
