Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- World public is praising the army and people of the DPRK for waging a heroic struggle to perform world-startling miracles in socialist construction in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, said that President Kim Il Sung settled on the principle of self-reliance all the issues arising in building a new society in order to achieve the sovereignty of the country.

The Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea in its bulletin noted that the DPRK is building a thriving nation by the method of self-reliance which calls for depending on its own natural resources and raw materials, strength and technology while giving fullest play to the revolutionary enthusiasm and creative ingenuity of the masses by keeping the ideological work ahead of all other work.

The Indonesian paper International Daily said that the Korean people are working world-startling unceasing miracles true to the plan of leader Kim Jong Il for building a thriving nation.

The Indian paper Tourism Era pointed out that the DPRK has achieved victories and progress in the spirit of self-reliance.

Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, said that the spirit of self-reliance means a precious boon to the whole mankind, the people of developing countries aspiring after true independence, in particular.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint statement noted that the spirit of self-reliance is inspiring the world revolutionary people in its struggle against imperialism resorting to exploitation on the plea of "globalization" and "aid".
