Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a cordial talk with Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, president of the Asian Olympic Council, and his party who paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Monday.

President Kim Il Sung rendered selfless support and encouragement to the Arab people in their just cause, said the president of the Asian Olympic Council.

He expressed conviction that the Korean people would surely attain the grand goal for 2012, centenary of birth of the President.

He voiced will to boost exchange and cooperation in sports and thus contribute to developing friendship between the DPRK and Kuwait.
