Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for History and Justice to Check the Embellishment of Pro-Japanese Acts and Dictatorship and the Retrogressive Revision of Textbooks in south Korea made public a statement on Nov. 14 denouncing the puppet conservative group for its moves to distort history.

The statement accused the conservative authorities of making desperate efforts to totally delete the crimes committed by the former dictatorial forces, the part dealing with people's struggle for democracy and the issue of eliminating pro-Japanese elements from the history textbooks. All this proves that the conservative forces' moves to distort history have become organized, it added.

Lurking behind these moves is a crafty intention of the authorities to stay in power, it charged.

The statement clarified the stand to stage ceaseless actions against their moves to tamper with history.
