Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The Chinese ambassador to the UN office in Vienna, addressing an International Atomic Energy Agency meeting on Saturday said that it is Iran's legitimate right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purpose.

He reiterated that imposing more sanctions or exerting more pressure on Iran cannot help solve the country's case.

"China under current circumstances believes that holding negotiations with Iran is an important way to peacefully solve Iran's nuclear issue," he added.
