Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The Central Tree Nursery, located in the suburbs of the capital city of Pyongyang, is one of the DPRK's large-scale sapling producers.

The nursery cultivates several dozen varieties of saplings, which are of good species and high value for timber and gardening, and accustoms various species of alien saplings to the country's soil and climate.

It has a modern humus production facility.

Its processes covering dissolution, fermentation and churning of raw materials and molding, cutting and packing of humus-cakes are all streamlined.

The temperature, humidity and light of the glasshouses are automatically controlled by computer.

An automatic control system is also applied to outdoor nursing grounds.

Tree nurseries have been built in provinces, cities and counties, modeled on the Central Tree Nursery.
