Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, had a photo session with soldier builders of Unit 3154 of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF).

Present there were Choe Yong Rim, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and premier of the Cabinet, KPA Vice Marshal Ri Yong Ho, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and chief of the KPA General Staff, Jang Song Thaek, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the WPK and vice-chairman of the National Defence Commission, KPA General Kim Jong Gak, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the WPK and first vice-director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, Ri Myong Su, minister of People's Security, Ri Pyong Sam, director of the Political Bureau of the KPISF, and Ri Ryong Ha, first vice department director of the C.C., the WPK.

Kim Jong Il warmly acknowledged the enthusiastically cheering participants and extended warm appreciation.

He highly praised the soldier builders for performing heroic exploits in socialist construction by displaying the revolutionary soldier spirit in the devoted drive to carry out the plan and determination of the Party and the leader. He had a photo taken with them.

He said that the soldier builders of Unit 3154 of the KPISF took the lead in making a breakthrough to the victory in the forefront of the great drive for building a thriving nation and built a lot of edifices, thereby demonstrating the might of Juche Korea and making a great contribution to the country's prosperity. He highly appreciated their shining exploits.

He expressed expectation and belief that they would as ever make a positive contribution to carrying out the cause of building a thriving nation by making patriotic devotion and displaying popular heroism in socialist construction.

He also had a photo taken with labor innovators who made a great contribution to building the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm into the world-level fruit production and processing center.
