Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- A seminar on the subject of "President Kim Il Sung and Juche Idea" took place in Bangladesh on Nov. 18 to commemorate the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung. On display at its venue were photos showing the immortal feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Attending it were the chairman and the general secretary of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea and other personages and popular masses. Present on invitation were the ambassador and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Dhaka. The chairman of the Institute praised Kim Il Sung as the great leader who founded the immortal Juche idea to brightly show the road ahead of the world's progressive humankind. He noted that the Korean people have firmly defended the banner of socialism and successfully pushed forward the building of a powerful and prosperous country in the worst adversity by the imperialist allied forces' vicious moves to stifle the DPRK. We will highly laud the greatness of Kim Il Sung who made tremendous contribution to the Korean revolution and global independence and widely introduce the undying exploits of Kim Jong Il who has enriched the Juche idea and creditably carried forward the cause of the President, the chairman said. The seminar was followed by the show of Korean film "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation". |
