Beijing, November 24 (KCNA) -- The Communist Party and people of China are pleased with the great successes made by the Korean people in building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Head of Publicity Department Liu Yunshan who doubles as member of the Political Bureau and member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China said this Thursday when he met and had a talk with the delegation of Rodong Sinmun led by Deputy Editor Choe Kap Song at the Great Hall of the People.

He expressed the belief that the party newspapers of China and the DPRK would contribute to strengthening friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

He wished the Korean people greater success in their drive to fling open the gate to a thriving socialist nation in 2012 under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
