Tehran, November 24 (KCNA) -- Majlis speaker Ali Larijani said in a press conference on Tuesday Majlis will not keep silent to the new series of sanctions against Iran imposed by the UN, UK and other western countries.

He said Iranians are used to facing such sanctions so they will not affect their national will to follow up Iran's nuclear program.

"Western countries should wait for a reaction by Iran in retaliation for the new waves of sanctions imposed on the country," Larijani said.

A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry also condemned the West for its sanctions against his country on the same day.
