Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan was formed with due ceremony on Nov. 18 to commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and celebrate February 16, birthday of leader Kim Jong Il, in 2012.

Pak Kyong Ho, chairman of the United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the ceremony.

The committee decided to hold colorful events, including floral basket-laying ceremonies, celebration and remembrance meetings, seminars on exploits, photo exhibitions, film shows and art performances, on the occasion of those holidays.
