Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a bylined commentary strikes out at the south Korean warmongers for having kicked off high-stakes anti-DPRK war drill on five islands in the West Sea of Korea under the pretext of coping with someone's "provocation".

The drill, simulating the conditions of the Yonphyong Island shelling incident, is an extremely provocative and dangerous war racket aimed to put into practice the adventurous scenario for invading the DPRK, the commentary says, and goes on:

The puppet warmongers made a combat rule of "measures first and report later" and set forth it as the goal of the drill to "attack not only provocateurs but supporters". This is little different from openly declaring their scheme to ignite a new war in the Korean Peninsula at any cost.

The involvement of the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops in the drill speaks volumes for the danger of the prevailing situation. The on-going war drill is meant to make the U.S. intervention in a "local war" an established fact.

The south Korean warmongers are gravely mistaken if they think they can go scot-free after making military provocations.

The Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army warned the south Korean war maniacs in the strong terms that their provocations will make the flame on Yonphyong Island burst into roaring flames of eliminating the stronghold of the group of traitors.

The KPA Supreme Command's warning is not an empty talk.
