Tehran, November 26 (KCNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a speech at a meeting on Nov. 23 clarified the stand not to give up the right to nuclear development for peaceful purpose.

The U.S. and some Western countries are escalating sanctions against Iran over its nuclear issue. In this regard he denounced the hostile forces for working hard to block Iran's development, nuclear and scientific and technological development, in particular, under various pretexts.

Iran will never pardon the slightest act of encroaching upon the country's right to nuclear development for peaceful purpose, he stressed.
