Moscow, November 27 (KCNA) -- Sergei Ivanov, deputy prime minister of Russia, said the federal government adopted important decisions to develop the country's defense industry.

Speaking at a consultative meeting held at a machine factory recently, he said a federal plan is also being worked out for the reform of the defense industrial complex which needs much fund.

The plan is aimed to support the national program "Military Equipment" to be implemented by 2020, he added.
