Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- DPRK Premier Choe Yong Rim made field survey of the State Academy of Sciences on Sunday.

After looking round various places of the academy, he held a consultative meeting.

The meeting made a discussion on the need for scientists and technicians to live up to trust and expectations of the Workers' Party of Korea by making tangible contributions to the improvement of the people's living standard with achievements based on the latest science and technology, the need for relevant units to preferentially provide conditions necessary for scientific research and other issues.

Earlier Choe acquainted himself with management and operation of the Pyongyang Textile Mill and Pyongyang Circus Theater and took relevant measures.
