Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- The south Korean warmongers staged the exercise of "attacking the base of provocation and assistance forces" on the first anniversary of the Yonphyong Island shelling. A bylined commentary of Minju Joson on Tuesday terms it an open expression of the south Korean warmongers' attempt to light a fuse and start an all-out war against the DPRK by any means.

The puppet warmongers, obsessed by confrontation and war against their fellow countrymen, consider the five islands in the West Sea of Korea as a starting position and an outpost base for launching the war, the commentary said, adding:

The war exercise proved it is an unchanged ambition of the puppet warmongers to invade the DPRK.

If the puppet warmongers had any interest in peace and security in the Korean Peninsula, they should have sincerely apologized for the last year's clumsy shelling and taken measures to prevent the repetition of similar incidents.

But they designated the army and people of the DPRK as "apparent enemies" and made a new war rule of "action first and report second" and have stepped up the war preparations, crying out for "retaliation" and "chastisement".

If the puppet warmongers commit provocation against the DPRK, forgetful of the last year's lesson, they would be doomed.

They should behave with discretion, mindful of the warning issued by the DPRK that the flame on Yonphyong Island will spread to Chongwadae.
