Tehran, November 28 (KCNA) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in a speech at an international meeting on Nov. 24 referred to the role of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

He said that the primary purpose for establishing NAM was to confront the political and cultural dominance and hegemony of the global powers.

NAM members will try to play their role to preserve the cultural diversity and promotion of human rights, he added.
