Moscow, November 28 (KCNA) -- Deputies to Russia's State Duma, in a news conference some days ago, voiced support for the tough step taken by President Dmitri Medvedev as regards the United States' missile defense system (MD).

The first vice-chairman of the Committee of International Affairs of the State Duma said the deadlocked MD talks have prompted him to take such a step. "It clearly proves that no result brings no cooperation," he added.

The first vice-chairman of the Committee of External Policy stressed Russia can not make a concession to the U.S. and NATO, saying, "Otherwise, they will trample on us."
