Rodong Sinmun Terms S. Korean Authorities Wrecker of Peace

Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- With nothing can the south Korean authorities cover up their true colors as wreckers of peace and outrageous warmongers who are getting hell-bent on anti-DPRK war moves, standing against the improvement of north-south relations. Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in a bylined article. The south Korean military war-like forces have staged large-scale war exercises against the DPRK in five islands in the West Sea, escalating the tension, the article notes, and goes on: The maneuvers going on in south Korea every day allegedly to cope with "provocation" by someone are very dangerous in their purpose, nature, content and style. Any war rehearsal aimed at other party is bound to invite military confrontation and war. The puppet warmongers' continued war exercises and persistent moves for military showdown with the DPRK are designed to check national unity and reunification and, furthermore, do harm to the fellow countrymen by force of arms. No one can vouch that such maneuvers will not lead to a war of aggression on the DPRK. The puppet forces are daringly making such bellicose remarks as "strong chastisement" and "retaliation" to the DPRK while clamoring about "provocation" and "possibility of additional provocation" by someone in a bid to mislead the public at home and abroad. This was prompted by their heinous scheme to irritate the DPRK to take military counteraction and, under this pretext, to ignite a nuclear war for invasion of the DPRK. The final aim sought by the south Korean conservative group is to realize "unification under the liberal democratic system", not the independent and peaceful reunification based on national reconciliation and unity. It is clear that a nuclear war holocaust will be created if the south Korean ruling forces pursuing sinister design and seeking a way out in a war are allowed to run amuck militarily. |
