Tehran, November 29 (KCNA) -- The Staff of the General Command of Armed Forces of Iran in a statement on the Navy Day on Nov. 26 warned the enemies against their moves for aggression on the country.

The U.S. and the Zionist regime should clearly know the strategic intention of Iran and abandon a dream for aggression on its territorial waters and land, the statement said.

If the enemies, oblivious of this, invade the territorial waters and land of Iran, its Armed Forces will deal a prompt and merciless retaliatory strike on them, it noted.

The mission of the Iran's Navy is to protect the interests of the country in the territorial waters of Iran and international waters, it said, adding: The Iran's Navy will intensify its advance into the open sea.
