Moscow, November 30 (KCNA) -- The commander of Air and Space Defense Forces of Russia in a recent press conference declared the stand of Russia to strongly counter the NATO's moves to deploy missile defense system (MD).

If NATO does not opt for dialogue but continues to deploy MD, Russia is ready to operate new radar stations, he said, adding that these stations will surpass that in Kaliningrad in terms of capability.

He stated that Russia is developing not only elements for information service including radar-locator but also other elements of MD of Russia.

If any action is taken against Russia, necessary counteractions will follow, he warned.
