Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- DPRK Premier Choe Yong Rim sent a message of greeting to Prime Minister of Laos Thongsing Thammavong on Thursday on the 36th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Choe said in his message that he is pleased with the fact that the Lao government and people have made many successes in their efforts to defend gains of the revolution, develop the people's democratic system and strengthen the overall national capability under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

Expressing belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries forged in the way for accomplishing the common cause of independence and socialism against imperialism would grow stronger, he wished the Lao prime minister and the Lao government success in the work to implement the 7th Five-year plan.

DPRK Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun also sent a similar message to his Lao counterpart Thongloun Sisoulith who doubles as vice prime minister on the same day.
