Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- The south Korea-U.S. "Free Trade Agreement" is little different from a sentence of death to the south Korean people, says Minju Joson Friday in a bylined commentary.

The agreement is run through with humiliating and treacherous contents that serve to deepen the U.S. colonial rule and subjugation over south Korea, the commentary says, adding:

It is not the popular masses of south Korea but the foreign forces and its conservative "government" servile to them and a tiny handful of big businessmen that will get benefits from effectuation of the FTA.

The point at issue is the reason why the "Grand National Party" railroaded the "motion calling for ratification of FTA" even though it presupposed massive protest of the people.

As is known, the GNP is now at a serious crisis. Growing stronger is the demand of the popular masses for the punishment of the conservative "government" which has engaged itself in traitorous policy, swimming against the public voice. In the meantime bloody strife is going on almost every day among factions of the GNP under the signboard of "reform" after its defeat in the Seoul mayoral election. After all, the GNP will have no shelter to depend on, if it is forsaken by its U.S. master. Since, the GNP group of traitors railroaded the "motion" through the "National Assembly" in an ulterior intention to tide over the ruling crisis and stay in power with the support of the U.S.

As long as the group of traitors steeped in pro-American sycophancy to its marrow stay in power, the south Korean people can never be freed from the outsiders' domination and subjugation, but face bitterer misery and disaster.
