Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- An agricultural symposium on rotation production system took place at the People's Palace of Culture from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Attending it were scientists, technicians and officials in the field of agriculture, including grain production, stockbreeding, pomiculture and sericulture, from across the country.

The symposium heard speeches on technical problems arising in the establishment of rotation production system in stockbreeding and grain output, the method of producing organic composite fertilizer and so forth.

Speakers referred to successes gained by many units in the country through a bold and large-scale drive to establish the rotation production system.

There were a public presentation of scientific and technological papers and an exhibition of agricultural technological products during the symposium.

Of the papers submitted, more than 200 data on success achieved in scientific research and technical updating were made public and 80 odd kinds of new technological products displayed.

There were also brisk dissemination of science and technology and exchange of new technologies and visits to exemplary units on the sidelines of the seminar.
