Beijing, December 1 (KCNA) -- A meeting of national guidance groups for reform of the cultural system took place in Beijing some days ago.

The meeting discussed measures to implement the decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on major issues arising in attaining a great development and prosperity of socialist culture.

It underscored the need to properly set the target and main tasks for a bigger stride in cultural development.
