Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- Avian influenza has been recently confirmed among ducks in a stock-breeding farm in Dac Lac Province, Vietnam.

Ducks were tested to have been infected with the H5N1-type bird flu, the Vietnamese government said on November 29.

The farm disposed of ducks and their eggs and disinfected the farm and its surrounding area as part of measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
