Beijing, December 1 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson for the Chinese Defense Ministry referred to the trial voyage of aircraft carrier at a press conference on November 30.

The carrier set sail on a trial basis in China on November 29, the spokesperson said, voicing hope that all the countries would take reasonable and objective stand to it as it was a regular voyage under a plan.

Aircraft carrier building requires testing of various armed equipment, facilities and parts as it involves complicated system processes, the spokesperson said, adding the timeline and contents of the test will be confirmed on the basis of comprehensive research and building processes.
