Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- The Japan Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea will resolutely stand against south Korea-U.S. and U.S.-Japan military exercises centering on the U.S. forces.

Hirogazu Kitagawa, representative member of the committee, declared this stand, making a report at the 29th national meeting of the movement for supporting Korea's reunification.

The blame for last year's Choenan warship sinking case and Yonphyong Island shelling case was on south Korea which staged the provocative military exercises in the West Sea of Korea, he said.

The very one bringing the danger of war to the Korean Peninsula is the U.S., south Korea and Japan that are ceaselessly staging joint military exercises, he stated.
