Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- The Malaysian permanent representative to the United Nations on Wednesday criticized Israel's "illegal policies and inhumane practices", speaking at a meeting of the UN General Assembly on Nov. 30.

This will detract the efforts to realizing the aspiration of creating two sovereign States living side by side in peace, he said.

"Israel needs to stop all provocative acts and improve the situation on the ground by immediately stopping the construction of illegal settlements, lifting the blockade in Gaza, addressing humanitarian needs and improving the atmosphere for negotiations, among others," he added.
