Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- The North American Group for Study of the Juche and Songun Philosophy of the U.S. released a statement on November 25 in support of the just cause of the Korean people.

It voiced support to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea fighting against the moves of the south Korean warmongers.

It expressed absolute solidarity with the government and people of the DPRK exposed to the grave danger created on the Korean Peninsula.

Anyone who pursues truth would know well that the south Korean warmongers recklessly preempted fire into the territorial waters of the DPRK from Yonphyong Island last year, it said, adding:

This provocation against the DPRK prompted the Korean People's Army to take retaliatory strike as a just self-defensive measure.

The DPRK has consistently made efforts for peace on the Korean Peninsula.

We demand the south Korean authorities renounce the military exercises and implement the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration.

We support measures taken by the DPRK for defending the sovereignty, and extend military solidarity to the army and people of the DPRK.
