Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- A strong windstorm lashed Southern California, the United States, on Dec. 1, leaving some 300 000 residents without power and forcing many schools to close.

Roads were blocked due to traffic accidents and a large number of flights diverted to other airports.
