Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- Mun Yong Nyo, a 46-year-old aerialist of Pyongyang Circus, is very popular for her amazing stunt performance.

Mun was the first in the world to perform a treble somersault and a double somersault with rotation in a 360 degree arc.

An aerial stunt "Conquerors" performed by DPRK aerialists won a gold lion prize at the 13th Wuqiao International Acrobatic Festival held in China some days ago. It was the top prize of the festival. In the stunt she performed a treble flip-flap in the air.

After graduating from Pyongyang Acrobatic School in 1982, she has been active as an aerialist for nearly 30 years.

She also played a leading role in "Three-stage Trapeze Flight", the predecessor of "Conquerors."

"Three-stage Trapeze Flight" won top prizes at the Cuba International Acrobatic Festival in 1987, the 16th Monte Carlo International Acrobatic Festival in 1992 and the 5th Wuqiao International Acrobatic Festival in 1995.
