Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- A lot of contaminated water of high concentration containing radioactive substances leaked from the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant in Japan, sparking off great concern.

The 45 tonnes of contaminated water leaked from the crevice of the outer wall, said the Tokyo Electric Power Co. on December 5.

Contained in it were strontium of one million times the standard level and radioactive cesium of 300 times over.

It is presumed that the water had already flown into the sea far into the north and west Pacific Ocean.

TEPCO admitted that this accident is the worst one.
