Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, arrived in Dar-Es-Salaam on Thursday to pay an official goodwill visit to Tanzania.

His suite members included Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun.

They were greeted by Bernard Kamillius Membe, minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Celina Kombani, minister of Constitution and Justice, the commander of the Army, the superintendent-general of the Police and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Jo Yong Man, DPRK ambassador to Tanzania.

A welcome ceremony took place at the airport.

Kim Yong Nam reviewed the guard of honor of the Tanzanian army.

Many artistes danced and cheered in welcome of Kim Yong Nam and his party.
