Moscow, December 8 (KCNA) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton of having suggested that the Sunday's parliamentary elections in Russia were neither free nor fair.

Lavrov dismissed Clinton's remark as an expression of interference in internal affairs and double standard.

If one of the two sides has something to demand to other side, he should make it clear through dialogue, he said.

The chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia advised Clinton to have concerns about the presidential election to be held in U.S. in 2012.
